15,200 square foot building addition brings total facility size to 60,000 square feet
Ontario, NY – OptiPro Systems, LLC (www.optipro.com), a world leader in precision machines and metrology solutions for the optics, ceramics and metalworking industries, is adding 15,200 square feet of manufacturing space to its facility in Ontario, NY. The addition will be the new site for the company’s machine tool showroom, doubling the size of the previous showroom. Relocation of the machine tool showroom will create an additional 7,500 square feet to expand OptiPro’s machine assembly area.
“OptiPro has experienced incredible growth in all three segments of our business, making the building addition a necessity,” said Mike Bechtold, President of OptiPro. “The additional space will allow OptiPro to further enhance our ability to serve our customers in the optics, ceramics and metalworking industries.”
With the additional space, OptiPro’s machine tool showroom will feature more metalworking solutions than ever before, allowing NY manufacturing companies to see the latest milling and turning technology. Greater capacity has also been created for OptiPro to manufacture more of their optical fabrication and ceramics machining platforms simultaneously.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2019 and will be the company’s third building addition in the last seven years.
